Job summary

A leading international bank in Canada is seeking a finance professional to monitor key controls around Daily PnL and Balance Sheet for multiple asset classes. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations and processes, review reconciliations, and liaise with various stakeholders including Technology and Product Control teams. Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in similar field.
  • Good understanding of Accounting and Financial Markets products.
  • Strong Control mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building internal networks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor key controls around Daily PnL & Balance Sheet for various asset classes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders from Technology, Product Control, and Finance.
  • Review daily/month end reconciliations between TP systems and General Ledger.
  • Assist in design and implementation of data integrity reports.
  • Ensure timely completion of controls and reviews.
  • Manage monthly AvF reconciliation delivery.
