A major engineering firm in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist. This role will involve overseeing purchasing functions on client projects, collaborating closely with project managers, and managing procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain Management and substantial experience in relevant sectors. The position supports a hybrid work model.
Our Major Projects group within WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients from coast to coast. This group provides project management, project controls, construction management and supply chain services to our major projects in the mining, energy, industrial and power markets across the country. The team ensures consistent project delivery for all clients regardless of project location or market.
To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to be part of our team. The role is responsible for purchasing functions on assigned client-based project(s). As a Senior member of the team, you may also be needed to work as lead on select major projects. This position can be located out of our Calgary, AB OR Montreal, QC offices.
