A multi-trade specialist contractor in Fredericton is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join their team. We are currently accepting applications from Apprentice Electricians interested in joining our established Fredericton-based team.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Working alongside and under the guidance of a Journeyman Electrician, you will learn how to :

  • Read and understand drawings, circuit diagrams, electrical code, and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using proper testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, wiring, fixtures, and controls.
  • Install PVC, EMT, and galvanized steel conduit systems.
  • Install and repair distribution equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, and disconnect switches.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You’ll gain real-world experience on projects that help power communities and industries across Atlantic Canada.

Education & Requirements
  • High school diploma or Grade 12 equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to travel and work away from home (hotel stays may be required; travel costs compensated).
  • Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
Work Schedule

Our electrical project teams typically work a 4-day week — 10-hour days, Monday to Thursday — giving you long weekends most weeks.

Fridays, weekends, evenings, and out-of-town travel may be required depending on project needs (all travel fully compensated).
