The Role

Under the supervision of the Manager, Community Recreation, the Yoga Instructor plans, organizes and delivers Yoga classes. They demonstrate and instruct Yoga and fitness activities and techniques. They assemble supplies and equipment, as required. They attend to clients with special needs and prepare class schedules.

Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years experience conducting Yoga classes
Yoga Teacher’s Certificate

Experience
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
In planning, organizing, and delivering Yoga classes
In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants
In ensuring safety protocols and procedures
In customer service

English Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset
