Job summary

Johnson Controls Security Products in Western Canada is seeking a Security Area Sales Manager to lead a team of Manufacturer Representatives and drive quarterly quotas. The role focuses on Exacq, Kantech and Illustra brands, with strategic dealer partnerships and robust sales forecasting.

Based in Alberta or British Columbia, preferably Calgary or Edmonton, you will travel up to 50% across Western Canada and participate in regional events, collaborating with leadership to grow market share.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales success in commercial security products (Access Control/Video Surveillance).
• Experience in sales channel management including distribution.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and listening skills.
• Ability to build relationships with executive-level stakeholders across the region.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to strengthen Johnson Controls’ relationships with Dealers, Distributors, Specifiers / A&E’s and 3rd party technology partners throughout Western Canada.
• Develop new dealer partnerships and continuously promote all brands (Exacq, Kantech, Illustra).
• Management and reporting of all sales activities, pipeline and forecasting; provide timely sales performance information.
• Represent Johnson Controls Security Products at industry events and tradeshows; collaborate with regional leadership as needed.
