Job summary

Valmet is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales for Flow Control products in Western Canada, covering Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Saskatoon, and Regina. You will lead channel partners and direct accounts, manage technical sales for capital projects and services, and build lasting customer relationships across multiple industries.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical sales or account management.
• Technical acumen for valves, instrumentation, or automation systems.
• Experience or knowledge from pulp & energy, oil & gas, or metals and mining industries is a strength.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with professionals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow sales efforts for Valmet Flow Control products across Western Canada.
• Develop and manage technical sales activities (capital, projects, services).
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers; travel up to 50%.
• Contribute to yearly strategic sales/marketing plans and achieve quota across brands.
