Job summary

Shannex Incorporated is seeking a Full Time Wellness Centre Attendant for Parkland Ancaster in Ancaster, Ontario. You will host the Wellness Centre, provide tours, manage registrations, and support smooth daily operations for residents and users.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in service roles, a high school diploma, and CPR/AED/First Aid assets, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills for a welcoming experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, senior living, recreation, or similar service-focused environment.
  • High school diploma and CPR/AED and First Aid certifications considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming and professional approach toward seniors.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome residents and users to the Wellness Centre with a warm, professional, service-focused experience.
  • Lead personalized tours and orientations for new residents and users.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the Wellness Centre including registrations, scheduling, check-ins, and vendor support.

We are searching for a Full Time Wellness Centre Attendant to join our Recreation & Wellness team at Parkland Ancaster based in Ancaster, Ontario. Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, the Wellness Centre Attendant is the primary host and central point of contact for the wellness space, responsible for creating a welcoming, organized, and high-quality experience for residents and users. This role supports the day‑to‑day operation of the Wellness Centre by ensuring the space is well managed, engaging, and operationally efficient, while delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive environment for all users.

About The Opportunity
  • Welcome residents and users to the Wellness Centre, providing a warm, professional, and service-focused experience
  • Lead personalized tours and orientations for new residents and users, introducing amenities, programs, services, and space features
  • Coordinate daily operations of the Wellness Centre, including registrations, scheduling, check‑ins, and supporting third‑party vendors as required
  • Maintain accurate participation and attendance records
  • Respond to inquiries and requests with professionalism and a commitment to service excellence
  • Monitor and maintain refreshment and wellness stations to ensure items are fresh, stocked, and presented to a high standard
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards while collaborating with Culinary teams as required
  • Complete regular walkthroughs to ensure the Wellness Centre remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Support the overall ambiance of the space, including lighting, temperature, and music
  • Promote a safe environment by monitoring for hazards and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies
  • Follow all community safety protocols and operational standards
  • Additional duties as required
About You
  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, senior living, recreation, or a similar service-focused environment
  • High school diploma and CPR/AED and First Aid certifications considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming, and professional approach with a genuine interest in working with seniors and supporting exceptional resident experiences
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
