Job summary

A wellness products company in Richmond is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage materials, ensure safety, and maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, including proficiency with a sit-down counterbalance forklift. Summary

The warehouse associate's responsibility is to pull materials for orders, assemble and pack them for delivery. Maintain and document equipment, supervise incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items.

Job Duties
  • Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations according to warehouse plans and specifications.
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure the warehouse is in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills. Must speak, read and write English.
  • Highly flexible, with good interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull at least 50lbs continuously throughout the day.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2 - 3 years' experience required with warehouse, logistics and inventory environments.
  • Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift Experience - 3yrs.
  • High school diploma/GED

  • Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Fluent English (reading/speaking/writing)
  • Follow all warehouse safety rule s
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player.
  • Have a good safety record and good attendance
Work Conditions
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday morning/days availability
  • Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items (up to 50lbs) for extended periods
  • Overtime as required
  • May have to go our locations in Richmond to assist.

All interviews will be in person during normal working hours.

Successful candidate will need to pass a Criminal Record Search prior to starting.
