Qualifications

  • CA Speech Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) license required.
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology mandatory.
  • 1 year of school-based or clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with K – 12th grade school aged clients.
  • Assist and evaluate students in speech, articulation, fluency, and language development.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement interventions.
  • Conduct assessments on voice, speech, and fluency.
  • Develop unique treatment plans focused on child and family.
  • Participate and/or conduct IEP meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with K – 12th grade school aged clients
  • Assist and evaluate students in the areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language development
  • Collaboration with classroom teachers and other school personnel to implement interventions
  • Conducting assessments reporting on areas of strength and areas of improvements in regards to aspects voice, speech and fluency
  • Develop unique treatment plans that are child and family first mentality
  • Participate and/or conduct IEP meetings
  • Flexible Scheduling
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
Requirements
  • CA Speech Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) license
  • ASHA CCC’s
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
  • Experience in IEP services and assessments preferredPediatric Experience
  • Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
