A leading automotive company in Mississauga is seeking detail-oriented individuals for an entry-level vehicle inspector role. You'll perform thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet high standards of quality and functionality before delivery. This ENTRY-LEVEL position ensures vehicles are inspected to the highest standards of condition and functionality before delivery or further production stages. Our team operates from Mississauga, and this is an essential role for detail‑oriented individuals passionate about automotive quality.
Perform detailed inspections of vehicles to ensure their condition and functionality meet company standards.
Evaluate vehicles for cosmetic, mechanical, and functional issues, ensuring readiness for delivery or further production.
Examine the exterior and interior for scratches, dents, paint inconsistencies, and trim alignment.
Ensure all interior finishes, such as upholstery and dashboard elements, are free from defects.
Test vehicle features such as windows, mirrors, HVAC systems, and advanced safety or connectivity options.
Maintain thorough inspection records and notes using an iPad and specialized inspection software.
Operate vehicles and inspection tools responsibly and in adherence to safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with company policies and automotive industry regulations during inspections.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Training in automotive inspection or quality control is a plus.
License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Must be able to commute to Mississauga, Ontario.
Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to identify cosmetic, mechanical, and functional discrepancies.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of vehicle systems and components to assess their condition and functionality.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in using iPads and inspection software for documentation.
Team Player: Works effectively with production, repair, and quality assurance teams.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and light lifting for extended periods.
Physical Demands: Frequent movement, standing, and use of inspection tools.
Conditions: Work in indoor facilities and outdoor areas, with exposure to machinery and varying environmental conditions.
