Job summary

A leading insurance company in Toronto seeks an Underwriting Support Specialist to assist underwriters throughout the underwriting lifecycle. Responsibilities include initial analysis, handling endorsement referrals, and maintaining account documentation. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of property and casualty underwriting, excellent communication skills, and at least three years of experience in an office environment.

Qualifications

• Typically a minimum of three years of related work experience in an office environment.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and French) are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial underwriting analysis and documentation.
• Handles majority of endorsement referral requests.
• Establishes support needs for new and renewal policies.
• Analyzes account specific information for Underwriter review.
• Works as a liaison between the field and processing centers.
