We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Trauma Counsellor with a passion for supporting children, youth and families who have experienced trauma, to join our SAIP (Sexual Abuse Intervention Program)counselling and Trauma Services team. Trauma Counsellors in our SAIP Program provide counselling (both individual and group) for children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse and other experiences of trauma. Counsellors also participate in program administration by attending to intake, assessment, treatment, referrals, parenting support and education, and consultation and collaboration with other service providers. Our Trauma Counsellors support clients in their healing journeys from a feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, intersectional lens.
*(pro-rated for part-time staff)
Work Hours: 17.5 per week (Part-time)
Location: Vancouver Office (1638 E Broadway) with the possibility of working Hybrid (in office, with the community, and home)
