Job description

This Territory Manager position is a full-time role located in the St-John’s, NL region .

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include :

  • Supporting and guiding associate store owners in all aspects of their business.
  • Developing and expanding the sales and distribution network within your territory and the NAPA auto parts partner network.
  • Implementing, promoting, and following up on NAPA programs.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with store team members, customers, and distribution centers.
  • Promoting our programs to ensure maximum adherence, planning sales efforts with the dedicated sales team, and collaborating with Banner Coordinators to increase market penetration.
  • Holding regular business reviews with store managers.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need :

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong sales and business development skills, with good budgeting and analytical experience.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • A team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to processes.
  • Great interpersonal skills, including reliability, positivity, and communication—these are essential!
  • Flexibility in availability for work.
  • The ability to act as a Business Partner with our Associate Store Owners.
  • The capability to advise and support store owners in operating and developing their business.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work independently and be results-oriented.

About the division

The Auto Parts Division focuses on the sale, distribution, and marketing of replacement parts and supplies for cars and light trucks. We operate the largest Canadian distribution network for vehicle replacement parts. Our divisions include well-known brands such as NAPA Auto Parts, Altrom-Autocamping (specialized in parts for imported vehicles), and CMAX (specialized in paint and body supplies).
