LOCATION: While this position is remote, you must reside in the Toronto Area.

We are looking for a Parts & Service Sales Representative responsible for Parts Sales primarily in Ontario and The Maritimes (PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador). Travel outside these areas may be required. The role involves outside sales efforts to generate new business and maintain existing client relationships. Responsibilities:

  • Develop understanding of Astec’s goals, services, clients, and processes.
  • Manage customer accounts, sales, credit issues, warranties, and business development in the territory.
  • Attend industry trade shows, meetings, and conventions to stay current and generate business opportunities.
  • Participate in customer service training and other company functions.
  • Achieve results aligned with the company’s vision and mission.
  • Promote and embody Astec’s core values.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in construction, concrete, aggregate, or asphalt industry, preferably with mechanical and machinery expertise.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, professional, courteous, self-motivated.
  • Ability to work from home with discipline and organization.
  • Strong communication skills and customer complaint resolution abilities.
  • Experience in planning and achieving goals under pressure and changing situations.
  • Willingness to travel overnight (2-4 nights).
