Part Territory Sales Manager – Concrete & Asphalt Western Canada

LOCATION: This position is remote but requires residence in Calgary, Vancouver, or Edmonton

We are looking for a Parts & Service Sales Representative responsible for Parts Sales in Ontario and The Maritimes (PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador). Travel outside these regions may be required. The role involves outside sales to generate new business and maintain relationships with existing clients. Deliverables & Responsibilities

  • Understand Astec’s goals, services, clients, and processes.
  • Manage customer accounts, sales, credit issues, warranties, and business development in the territory.
  • Attend industry trade shows, meetings, and conventions to stay current and network.
  • Participate in customer service training and other functions as needed.
  • Achieve results aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Promote and educate about Astec’s core values.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety rules.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum five years’ experience in construction, concrete, aggregate, or asphalt industry, preferably with mechanical and machinery focus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Knowledge of industry concepts, practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, professional, courteous, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work from home, be disciplined, organized, and autonomous.
  • Strong communication skills, customer complaint resolution, and practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience planning and accomplishing goals, managing pressures, deadlines, and changing situations.
  • Willingness to travel overnight.
  • Ability to communicate Astec’s value and product benefits effectively.
