Opportunity: Territory Manager, Province of Quebec

Location:Home-based in Quebec with periodic travel to Head Office in Shallow Lake, Ontario

Shouldice Stone is a growing Canadian manufacturer of high-quality masonry products. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Territory Manager to oversee and expand our market presence in the Province of Quebec.

In this role, you will present our products, services, and solutions to both business and consumer clients, with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving sales. This position is home-based with occasional travel to our Head Office in Shallow Lake, Ontario. The ideal candidate thrives in a sales-driven environment and is motivated to grow an established territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (including distributors, architects, builders, masons, and other industry stakeholders).
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and opportunity analyses.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to build relationships with prospective clients.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer service needs are communicated and addressed.
  • Provide regular reports on territory activity, customer feedback, and market developments to the Director of Sales.
  • Present products to the architectural and design community to generate project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, including contacts, sales activity, and project tracking, using the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare and follow up on sales quotations and report on lost sales.
  • Proactively address customer expectations and deliver solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regional sales role.
  • Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in the masonry, construction, or building materials industry is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage customer information and sales activity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in bothFrench and English.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Compensation:Base salary plus bonus and commission program

  • Work Location:Home-based in Quebec with travel throughout the province and to Head Office as needed
