As a Territory Manager for our Therma-Tru brand, you will grow top-line sales within the Manitoba, Atlantic Maritimes, and Ontario territories. Your responsibilities include cultivating relationships with key and prospective distributor accounts to drive sales growth. You will act as the primary contact, establishing and maintaining relationships with key personnel across customers’ organizations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in selling and knowledge of doors and building materials, be highly autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 4-6 nights a month. A background in maintaining relationships through high-touch communication and knowledge sharing is essential.

This remote position is based in Toronto, ON. The salary range is from $81K to $110K, with a bonus opportunity based on territory performance.

YOUR ROLE:

  1. Develop business plans and targets for market and channel growth within your territory.
  2. Manage existing customer relationships and cultivate new ones with distributors, dealers, and builders.
  3. Serve as the primary contact for escalation of issues by customer accounts or segment managers.
  4. Collaborate on establishing market pricing and share insights on new products and competitors.
  5. Communicate and train customers on TT products and value-added services.
  6. Present marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs to customers.
  7. Assist in resolving service issues in partnership with Customer Service.
  8. Handle administrative tasks like activity reports, opportunities, expenses, etc., promptly.
  9. Maintain an up-to-date customer and prospect database.
  10. Attend trade shows as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
  12. This role will also involve representing Fypon and Larson brands.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of direct sales experience in the building products industry
  • Experience with distributors, dealers, builders, and contractors
  • Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with multi-step distribution channels
  • Experience with sales forecasting
