Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to promote Sysco products and services within a designated Canadian territory. You will build customer relationships, respond to inquiries, and tailor solutions to meet client needs.

The role requires driving to customer accounts, occasional non-traditional hours, and proactive engagement in training and district meetings. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience supports your candidacy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience, outside or field sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads based on company account stratification goals.
• Develop tailored product and service solutions for customers.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend relevant products.
• Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.
• Manage accounts receivable with the credit department.
• Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues.
• Participate in company functions, promotions, and customer events.
• Attend sales and district meetings.
• Engage in ongoing training.
• Assist with training new employees.
• Review and analyze sales reports and data.
