Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst

As a Technical Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for new initiatives under internal fraud & insider threat within our Global Operations Technology portfolio of applications. The portfolio spans across systems that keep the bank safe and secure.

In this role you will:

  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Conducts stakeholder interviews, facilitates meetings, leads requirements gathering sessions
  • Analyzes requirements from business units and translates them into technical requirements for developers or vendors
  • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Supports one or more highly complex business processes
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member
  • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization, in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Strong communication skills – will be speaking with multiple stakeholders such as Business Partners, Operation Teams, Developers and Vendors
  • Experience with data analysis, data mapping & data integration work
  • Advanced SQL skills for extracting and interpreting data from various systems
  • Understanding of API integration, system interface and connectivity
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed data and technical requirements
  • Experience with Reporting applications an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform systems and business root-cause analysis
  • Being able to work in a matrix organization and work with competing priorities, will be working on multiple projects
  • Energetic and ready to move quickly
  • Agile experience, Sprint planning, and backlog grooming
  • Jira/Confluence/ServiceNow/Excel/SQL/Visio
