Overview

Job Summary

The Technical Analyst will join a core project team supporting the rollout of a new system for the client’s business banking division. Working in a small team ( members), the analyst will perform data collection, preparation, and validation, run Python / PySpark notebooks in Azure Databricks, and support interactive reporting in Excel. This role requires strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and the ability to communicate results to stakeholders clearly.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and validate specified data inputs; populate data templates and ensure completeness
  • Prepare model inputs, execute Python / PySpark notebooks in Azure Databricks, and extract outputs
  • Populate interactive Excel templates and perform quality checks on outputs
  • Communicate progress and findings to stakeholders; escalate issues as necessary
  • Follow checklists, procedures, and timelines with operational discipline
  • Maintain logs and documentation; recommend process improvements
Required Experience
  • College diploma or undergraduate degree
  • – years professional experience
Required Skills
  • Basic Python programming : modify scripts, manage data frames, handle I / O
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel : structured templates, strict formatting compliance
  • Quality mindset : attention to anomalies (missing data, outliers)
  • Strong operational discipline : checklist adherence, timely updates
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Azure Databricks
  • Basic PySpark and SQL experience (filtering, joins, aggregations)
  • Git / GitHub or Bitbucket basics
  • VBA scripting
  • Familiarity with banking / credit products or credit review processes
  • Functional proficiency in French
