Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a Team Member - Shredder for the Continental Day Shift in Brampton, Ontario. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and keeping the shredder running to prevent downtime while meeting safety standards.

The position offers a Tuesday–Saturday style schedule on alternate days, with a pay rate of CAD 24.99–26.35 per hour, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of general labor construction experience.
• 1-2 years of machine operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative/predictive and scheduled maintenance on production shredder and associated components based on prescribed procedures to ensure equipment does not incur unexpected downtime.
• Thoroughly records all equipment deficiencies and submits all associated documentation to ensure that required maintenance is performed and production shredder meets established operational and safety standards.
• Facilitates the removal of material jams and completes all general housekeeping duties to ensure production shredder functions according to operational and safety standards.

The Shredder Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance and general upkeep of the shredder and associated components to ensure that the shredder is fully operational, avoid unexpected downtime and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed in an effective and efficient manner. When:

Alternate Days Shift 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M

• 1st Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Saturday, Sunday
• 2nd Week: Wednesday, Thursday
