Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking a team member in Timmins, Ontario to inspect, grade, sort, and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. The role requires maintaining an orderly yard and using a computer to log material codes and weights.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a production, warehouse or landscaping environment.
• 1 year of experience operating forklift or skid-steer (bob-cat), preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to accept ferrous and non-ferrous scrap materials.
• Performs the inspecting, grading, sorting and processing of ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap metals.
• Use computer system to input non-ferrous material codes and weight.
• Completes yard tickets and provides ticket to customer.
• Maintains work location in orderly condition in order to achieve operational goals and objectives.
• Operates counterbalance forklift and/or skid steer in accordance with operation policies and procedures ensuring efficient material movement.
• Process materials by breaking them down by commodity and removing all non-conforming material.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• The successful applicant will be subject a criminal background check.
