Job summary

Triple M Metal LP is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Brampton, Ontario team. The role involves operating Excavator, Front End Loader, and other equipment to load, sort, and process scrap metals across our facilities.

Ideal candidates have prior heavy-equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. The position follows an alternating day schedule with competitive compensation based on experience, plus standard company benefits and

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader.
• Load scrap metal as assigned; sort, stack, and process materials as directed.
• Perform pre-operational checks and complete documentation.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment; comply with company values and safety policies.

Compensation: Based on experience. Between the range of $27.82 -$29.22

When:

Days – Alternating Schedule

• Week 1 7:00AM to 7:00PM Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2 7:00AM to 7:00PM Wednesday & Thursday

What’s Expected:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment including Excavator, Scrap Handler, Front End Loader
• Operate various attachments as assigned (e.g. Grapple, Magnet etc.);
• Load scrap metal as assigned;
• Sort, stack, process materials as directed;
• Clean, lubricate, check and replenish fluids as directed;
• Complete pre-operational equipment check and other documentation as assigned;
• Operate two-way radio or other communication devices as required;
• Maintain a safe and orderly working environment;
• Other general duties as assigned by Manager.

What's Required:

• Previous experience operating Excavator, Front End Loader, Rock Truck;
• Must have a valid Driver’s License;
• Strong communication both written and verbal;
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
