Roots is seeking a Team Lead in Alberta to link leadership with sales teams, ensuring an exceptional in-store experience. You will support management, coach staff, and manage daily store operations while driving sales performance and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Successful candidates bring leadership experience in apparel retail, strong POS skills, and a passion for customer service. A flexible weekly schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years related experience in a retail apparel environment, luxury retail a plus.
• Proven ability to lead a sales team and be seen as a leader among peers.
• Experience with POS management, daily banking procedures, and timely reporting.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for exceptional customer experience.
• Available for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a customer-obsessed selling culture and build brand loyalty through product knowledge.
• Partner with store management to execute action plans for optimized results and effective operations.
• Contribute ideas to leadership to improve store productivity and operations.
• Assist in onboarding and training new associates.
• Coach associates on customer service and provide feedback.
• Help resolve customer service matters.
• Delegate tasks to maximize store efficiency.
• Provide performance feedback to management and ensure adherence to policies.
