As Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the workforce that drives our growth and our purpose in protecting people and property from physical attacks. This role is more than filling jobs. The TSS Talent Acquisition Manager will build proactive pipelines, champion an exceptional candidate experience, and ensure every hire strengthens our culture and improves our ability to develop our Three Uniques (Customer Experience, Customization and Speed).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment Strategy:
    • Design and implement workforce strategies that align with TSS’s growth goals.
    • Partner with management to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines for key and hard-to-fill roles.v
  • Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition:
    • Manage all phases of recruiting: postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
    • Track and improve hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, turnover trends).
  • Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience:
    • Ensure every candidate touchpoint reflects TSS’s Core Values (Team Player, Right Thing, Improve, Be Passionate, and Experience).
    • Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, feedback calibration, and bias-free selection.
    • Lead interview debriefs to ensure cultural alignment and best practice evaluation.
  • Employer Brand & Outreach:
    • Partner with Marketing to amplify TSS’s employer brand across social media, job boards, and professional networks.
    • Represent TSS at job fairs, campus events, and industry networking opportunities.
    • Enhance TSS’s reputation as an employer of choice in Michigan, California, and nationwide.
  • Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
    • Ensure all recruiting practices comply with EEOC, OFCCP, ADA, and state and federal employment laws.
    • Evaluate and refine recruiting tools, processes, and vendor partnerships for scalability and efficiency.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends to keep TSS competitive in the talent market.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Multi-state recruiting experience strongly preferred (Michigan and California ideal).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and sourcing techniques.
  • Skilled in ATS platforms (e.g., Workable, Greenhouse, BambooHR) and HRIS systems.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with hiring managers at all levels.
  • Passion for TSS’s mission: protecting people and property from physical threats.
Physical Requirements:
  • Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
  • Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.
  • Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
  • This job takes place in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Office employees are required to wear safety glasses, safety shoes, and a highly visible vest at all times in production areas and labs.
