It sits on the Canadian Shield, on the north shore of Great Slave Lake, and about 400 km south of the Arctic Circle. Under the direction of the Manager, as the Clinical Coordinator (CC), you will provide clinical leadership, clinical supervision, and subject matter expertise to the staff on resident care, nursing practices, and operations of Extended Care (EC) and Long-Term Care (LTC). Your clinical education and mentorship to nursing and non‑nursing staff will follow established standards of nursing practice, required organizational practices (ROPs), NTHSSA policies, and related facility procedures. You will ensure that physical, emotional, psycho‑social, cultural, spiritual, educational, recreational, and everyday living needs are met, and lead the evaluation of patient experience for EC/LTC.
To be considered for this role you must have successfully completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) and have ten (10) years of experience, with five (5) of those years in an LTC/EC setting.
