Job summary

The Burger in Guelph is seeking a driven shift leader to guide daily operations, train the team, and ensure guests receive exceptional service.

You will manage opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, and ordering, while collaborating with senior management to maintain a busy, guest-focused operation that values teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum leadership experience.
• Friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Food Handler certification or willingness to certify.
• Capable of standing long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for from you:

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team
• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do
• Passionate about food and providing only the best guest experiences
• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Well organized with ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and in a hot environment
