Job summary

The Burger is hiring an experienced restaurant leader in Southwestern Ontario to guide daily operations and develop a high-performing team. You will coach staff, manage scheduling, and control costs while upholding the company’s standards for guest satisfaction.

You will lead hiring, training, and performance, ensure compliance with food safety, and drive strong results in labor and profitability. Competitive wages with tips and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Minimum two–three years’ experience leading a team.
• Friendly and enthusiastic about everything you do.
• Passionate about food and guest experiences.
• Food HandlerCertified or willing to certify.
• Availability for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Works well in a team and independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash deposits and handle POS duties.
• Place orders and perform inventory counts.
• Address guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.

What you will do in this role:

• Train and coach the team below you to provide “ABSOLUTE” service
• Set clear expectations and follow up with your team on a regular basis
• Take direction and feedback from the Senior Management team
• Open and close the restaurant independently (key holder)
• Reconcile cash deposits
• Place orders and perform inventory counts
• Address customer concerns ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
• Able to attract, interview and hire employees and build a strong team
• Understand food costing
• Can accurately schedule employees while achieving labour targets
• Responsible for P&L results

What we are looking for from you:

• Food Handler Certified or willing to certify

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a hot environment
