Job Summary

Thesalaryrange for this position is$51,200 to $65,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Stewarding Manager we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Represents Company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions.
  • Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
  • Oversees the completion of the master cleaning schedule and performs manager verification on all tasks.
  • Is a representative on the Joint Health & safety committee
  • Oversees all equipment inventories and maintenance for the culinary team
  • Ensure all dishes are washed, sanitized and dried in accordance with proper HSQA guidelines.
  • Ability to interact with customers, clients and leadership team in order to assure customer satisfaction as required.
  • Ensures station SOPs are followed for each meal service, overseeing execution to ensure HSQA practices are followed.
  • Ensures the submission of required monthly safety audits and compliance inspections, at the request of the Executive Chef and HSQA requirements.
  • Assists with forecasting, compliance, and scheduling.
  • Collaborates with the Production Supervisor, Catering Supervisor and Executive Chef on all menu refreshes, and provides feedback.
  • Follow waste reduction techniques, including checking clear waste bins for excess or unusual waste after each meal.
  • Complete operational reports and provide to the Executive Chef/FSD/GM daily.

  • 2-3 years prior Management or supervisory experience needed in Hotel stewarding operation
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically
  • Pays attention to detail and addresses concerns quickly, including managing multi tasks simultaneously and ensures that
  • Follows manager direction as required, while leading and delegating tasks to an effective team
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop direct reports and staff during times of change and shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
