Job summary

Ownr is seeking a dynamic Account Specialist to join our sales team. You will simplify legal corporate structures and compliance terminology for entrepreneurs, guiding them through the Ownr platform and demonstrating why registering through Ownr is a smart choice for Canadian small business.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll help drive growth, master objection handling, and contribute to performance-driven results while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Ownr and RBCx.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, communications, or related field.
Outbound/inbound sales experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn about legal concepts affecting Canadian business owners.
Eagerness to speak with hundreds of entrepreneurs and uncover opportunities.
Strong time management to work self-directed.
Excellent written and oral communication to explain complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Educate Ownr users on legal terminology, compliance, and business structures.
Connect with new Ownr users via phone, email, and demos to identify solutions within Ownr.
Make 25–30 net new client calls daily plus follow-ups.
Track and report sales/conversion metrics.
Collaborate to test and implement sales experiments and product updates.
