About the Firm

Position

We are looking for a sharp and personable CPA with 5–7 years in public accounting to join our senior team. In this role, you’ll manage client engagements, perform some audit & assurance, lead junior staff, and contribute to the strategic growth of the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking long‑term growth in a relaxed yet high‑performing firm.

Responsibilities
  • Lead tax and consulting engagements for a diverse client base.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements for personal, corporate and trust tax returns.
  • Review financial statements and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Audit & Assurance
  • Provide advisory services to clients, including budgeting, forecasting, and compliance planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards.
  • Coach and support junior team members.
  • Develop strong client relationships through exceptional service.
  • Contribute to business development and bring new ideas to the table.
Qualifications
  • CPA designation (in good standing) required.
  • 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Solid knowledge of Canadian GAAP and relevant tax legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks, & Profile).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
