The Spa Sales Associate is the first face and voice of Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa for our clients. Spa Sales Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our clients. Spa Sales Associates will greet, check in/check out and confirm scheduled services for clients and are expected to be knowledgeable about all spa treatments and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every client with a smile, eye contact and a friendly verbal greeting using the client’s name when possible
  • Answer, record, and process all client calls, requests, questions, or concerns; follow up to ensure each has been met to clients’ satisfaction
  • Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa reservation system
  • Update the reservation/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes and resolve scheduling issues as needed
  • Multi-task between answering phones, booking appointments and selling memberships, gift cards and upgrades
  • Process client check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning RMT or Esthetician
  • Process check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
  • Process payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change
  • Address client concerns, requests, or issues either individually or by enlisting the help of others
  • Speak with clients using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and associates
  • Polite and courteous telephone manner
  • Previous salon/spa or reception experience an asset
  • Proven fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and proficiency in computer keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior computer experience
  • Sales focused - the ability to meet quotas and goals
  • Self-motivated, mature and reliable
  • Friendly and approachable
