This is a Hybrid position. On-site work is required 2-3 days/week at our Head Office in beautiful Victoria, BC.
We’re seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Associate with a passion for health, wellness, and community. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and eager to support and help grow Pomme’s ongoing marketing efforts through compelling content and thoughtful, strategy-driven initiatives. This is a support role that contributes across a wide range of marketing activities.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you\'ll help develop and execute marketing initiatives that drive sales while staying true to our brand voice, values, and commitment to wellness.
The Social Media & Marketing Associate will support in the following areas:
- Developing compelling content for various digital platforms, ensuring alignment and consistency with the brand’s voice and messaging.
- Implementing marketing campaigns and promotions across digital and in-store channels.
- Creating and managing content for social media, email newsletters, and other brand touchpoints.
- Designing and producing marketing collateral for both print and digital use (signage, posters, flyers, ads, web graphics).
- Coordinating and supporting the execution of promotions and in-store events.
- Monitoring social media performance, identifying trends, and providing data-driven insights.
- Implementing basic SEO strategies to improve content visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Engaging with our online community across platforms and supporting day-to-day interactions.
- Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and executing targeted social media marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Updating and maintaining website content using CMS platforms.
- Generating performance reports and analyzing ROI to support future strategy.
- Collaborating with vendors, media outlets, and community partners to support promotions and campaigns.
- Contributing to the planning and execution of the annual marketing calendar
- Staying current with marketing trends and tools to help keep content fresh and relevant.
- Providing general marketing support and administrative assistance as needed.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and/or a minimum of 3+ years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
- Experience in the grocery/retail, and health and wellness industry is an asset.
- Extensive experience withkey digital marketing platforms and tools, includingMeta Business Suite; graphic design tools (Canva/Adobe); social media scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout Social/Google Analytics); email marketing platforms (Mailchimp); and CMS platforms (Squarespace/WordPress).
- Strong graphic design skills and a sharp visual eye.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write for a variety of marketing channels.
- Experience planning and publishing cross-platform marketing content
- Ability to identify and share relevant, engaging content tailored to different audiences
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and content strategy
- Ability to track campaign performance, interpret analytics, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Project management skills, including the ability to coordinate and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Tech-savvy, curious, and quick to learn new platforms and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of current wellness trends and a genuine passion for healthy living.
- Willingness to travel to store locations and occasional availability on weekends.
