Overview

Site Supervisor - Kelowna Airport (YLW). Commissionaires BC is looking for a Site Supervisor to lead our team at Kelowna Airport. You will be part of the safety and security team, helping passengers and airport staff navigate the airport, with a focus on access control and other security needs.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Payrate: $27.10/hour

Responsibilities

• Lead our team at Kelowna Airport and oversee daily security operations.
• Assist passengers and airport staff with navigation and security-related needs.
• Manage access control and other security duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with the security team to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in security
• 1-2 years' experience in a supervisor's role
• Valid Security License
• Class 5 Driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
• Experience in scheduling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be using a radio and writing reports
• Ability to pass and retain security clearances, RAIC and AVOP. Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances, in addition to carrying a valid Security License
• Advanced computer skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions
