A leading restoration company in Mississauga is hiring a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead projects in the commercial sector. In this role, you will coordinate activities, resources, and equipment while ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Your tasks include inspecting work, monitoring teams, and maintaining detailed project schedules. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the construction industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work extensive hours. This role promises opportunities for skilled leaders in a high-activity environment.
At First Onsite, our Commercial Complex Claims team supports clients coast-to-coast, responding to complex losses of every scale. We are dedicated exclusively to the commercial sector-Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Institutional, Manufacturing, Retail, and beyond-delivering specialized restoration expertise when businesses need it most.
From everyday disruptions to Canada's most challenging restoration projects, we mobilize immediately with the right people, equipment, and solutions. Whether it's fire, flood, vehicle impact, or specialized services such as asbestos abatement and mold remediation, our team is committed to minimizing downtime and helping organizations get back to full operations quickly and safely.
To support this work, we're expanding our Construction team and hiring a Site Supervisor - a hands‑on leader who keeps projects running smoothly from start to finish. In this role, you'll coordinate activities, resources, equipment, and information on active job sites while guiding construction crews and ensuring work meets First Onsite's high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Working closely with the Construction Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in optimizing project performance and ensuring departmental goals are met - and exceeded.
Please note: This role involves extensive hours/overtime.
Each day begins with reviewing schedules and aligning with Project Managers to plan and oversee all in-house work across multiple commercial restoration sites. You're the steady hand on every project - verifying that demos meet First Onsite's quality and safety standards, generating accurate materials lists, and revising scopes before crews begin work.
On site, you provide immediate direction and support to teams, ensuring safety procedures are followed, tailgate meetings are conducted, and that every task moves toward the day's production goals. Throughout the day you inspect work quality, monitor staff efficiency, authorize timesheets, and keep all stakeholders updated on progress, changes, or additions to work orders. You build and lead high‑performing crews that deliver on our corporate strategic plan while maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating resources, and solving challenges in real time.
If you feel that you would be right for this construction management position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information. We look forward to meeting you!
