Position: Low-Rise Site Superintendent – Multi-Residential (Stacked Townhomes)

Locations: Kawartha Lakes, Belleville, Peterborough

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Low-Rise Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day construction operations for multi-residential stacked townhouse developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating trades, ensuring quality control, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities for multi-residential stacked town projects.
• Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and quality execution.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized job site in compliance with OHSA and company standards.
• Monitor schedules, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
• Maintain daily logs and prepare progress reports for project managers and senior leadership.
• Support and enforce quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Act as the primary on-site contact, communicating with stakeholders, consultants, and inspectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in residential low-rise or multi-residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proven track record in scheduling, coordinating trades, and problem-solving on active construction sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in site management software is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites in Kawartha Lakes, Belleville, or Peterborough.
