Description

As the ideal candidate, you have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience as a site superintendent for residential wood structure projects. You have proven expertise in Quebec construction methods, codes, standards and regulations.

Our residential construction project is located on the South Shore of Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project under the supervision of the Project Manager;
• Ensure that work is carried out efficiently, productively and safely;
• Independently coordinate site activities in compliance with the customer\'s plans and specifications;
• Enforce compliance of suppliers and subcontractors with contractual requirements;
• Write site reports, complete control sheets, receive materials delivered to site;
• Plan construction schedules and ensure compliance;
• Inform the project manager of progress and make any necessary adjustments to the work schedule;
• Follow up with the project manager to ensure that all required documents are up to date;
• Eliminate all deficiencies in order to receive provisional and final acceptance of the project;
• Manage material, equipment, labor and subcontracting requirements;
• Any other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in architecture (or building-related field) combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on major projects, or professional diploma in a construction trade combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience as a superintendent on residentialCONCRETE projects;
