Starbucks Burnaby is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager in daily operations during scheduled shifts. Lead a team of partners to deliver the Starbucks Experience with legendary service, quality beverages and a clean store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity and promotes Starbucks culture, values and mission.
• Maintains calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations to standard.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and cues.
• Communicates information to manager so the team can respond to create the Third Place environment.
• Assists with new partner training and coaching for performance improvement.
• Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift.
• Creates a positive learning environment with coaching and feedback on shift.
• Delivers legendary customer service and connects with customers.
• Develops positive relationships with shift team and understands motivation and concerns.
• Executes store operations and opening/closing duties as assigned.
