Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Shift Supervisor to assist the store manager and lead partners during scheduled shifts. You will ensure the Starbucks Experience by delivering legendary customer service and maintaining quality beverages, while following safety and cash handling policies.

As a team lead, you will train and coach partners, respond to customer needs, and organize opening/closing duties to ensure smooth store operations. Vancouver location, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
• Lead the team by delegating tasks and deploying partners to deliver the Starbucks Experience.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods and set a positive example for the shift team.
• Communicate needs to the manager to ensure the store runs smoothly as a Third Place environment.
• Provide coaching and feedback to partners to improve performance and learning.
• Ensure adherence to cash handling, safety and security policies during shifts.
• Ensure consistent beverage and product quality and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
