Job summary

Starbucks in Toronto is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager in running daily operations during scheduled shifts and to lead the team in delivering the Starbucks Experience with legendary service, quality beverages and a welcoming, clean store.

You will organize opening and closing duties, direct partners, coach on performance, ensure accurate cash handling and safety procedures, and collaborate with management to maintain standards and a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in retail or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and coach team members on shift.
• Commitment to Starbucks standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager by executing store operations during shifts.
• Direct and support shift partners to deliver the Starbucks Experience.
• Ensure prompt service, quality beverages and products, and a clean store environment.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality and uphold safety procedures.
• Coach and provide feedback to partners on shift performance.
• Follow cash handling and store controls as required.
