Starbucks in Edmonton is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager in operating the store during scheduled shifts, lead partners, delegate tasks and deliver the Starbucks Experience with legendary service.

You will model Starbucks guiding principles, maintain a clean, safe environment, and help drive customer satisfaction, teamwork, and operational excellence during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintains calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations on standard
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and cues
• Communicates information to manager to create the Third Place environment during each shift
• Assists with new partner training and coaching as needed
• Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift
• Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance
• Creates a positive learning environment by providing coaching and feedback to partners on shift
• Delivers legendary customer service by prioritizing customer needs and connection
• Discovers and responds to customer needs
• Develops positive relationships with shift team
• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts
• Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned
• Follows Starbucks policies including cash handling and safety
