Motion Industries is seeking a Service Coordinator to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and met. You may support specific customers, respond to inquiries, quote products, and enter orders.

You will coordinate with Service Technicians, schedule time, and manage shipping methods to optimize service delivery. The role emphasizes negotiation, careful data gathering from technicians for quotes, and building lasting customer relationships to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and three to five years of related experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and basic product knowledge are expected.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or counter sales.
• Collects data from Service Technician to quote customer.
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices to influence gross profit within parameters.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to maximize profit while meeting customer demand.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Expedites backorders and coordinates inventory for shipment to customer.
• Schedules Service Technician time and determines cost-effective shipping methods.
• May handle customer returns and support specific customers.
• Tracks and schedules service orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
