Job summary

Motion Industries in Paradise, NL is seeking a Service Coordinator to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. You will place orders, gather data from service technicians to prepare quotes, and coordinate scheduling of service staff.

You will negotiate prices within parameters to protect gross profit, maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business, manage backorders, and coordinate shipping methods while tracking service orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.

Responsibilities

• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in (counter sales).
• Collects data from Service Technician to quote customer.
• Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase price within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and drive process improvements.
• Expedites backorders and prepares orders for shipment to customer.
• Sources products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory or supplier inventory.
• Schedules Service Technician time and determines cost effective shipping method for orders.
• Handles customer returns and supports specific customers.
• Tracks and schedules service orders and responds to inquiries regarding products and quotes.
