Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Service Coordinator to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met, while coordinating orders and service activities.

You will place orders by phone, fax, email, or walk-in; quote customers with data from field techs; negotiate pricing within guidelines; build relationships to drive repeat business and schedule service technicians. You may expedite backorders, pull inventory, and arrange shipping to customers for efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic product knowledge and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in.
• Collects data from Service Technician to quote customer.
• Influences gross profit through negotiating sale and purchase prices within parameters.
• Adjusts non-contract customer pricing to meet demands while maximizing company profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improves processes.
• Expedites backorders and pulls inventory for shipment.
• Schedules Service Technician time and determines cost-effective shipping methods.
• Handles customer returns and responds to inquiries with quotes and order entry.
• Tracks and schedules service orders; may support specific customers.
