Job summary

Performance Ford in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a friendly BDC/Service Cashier to join a busy Service Department. This role focuses on greeting customers, processing payments, and supporting appointment scheduling within a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure a smooth customer experience from arrival to departure. Previous automotive exposure is helpful, and on-the-job training is available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn dealership processes and software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist Service Department customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Process customer payments and service invoices accurately.
• Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the appropriate department.
• Assist with service appointment scheduling and customer follow-up.
• Make outbound calls to customers when required.
• Help coordinate customer transportation, shuttle needs, and vehicle pick-up.
• Communicate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Management.
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation.
• Assist with daily BDC follow-up and customer communication.
• Help ensure the Service Drive and cashier area remain organized and professional.
• Provide customers with clear information regarding their repair order and payment.
• Identify opportunities to assist customers and bring concerns to the appropriate Service Advisor.
• Follow dealership processes and help create a smooth customer experience.
• Filing daily repair orders.
