Job summary

Planet Ford, part of Performance Auto Group, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Brampton, Ontario. You will identify, recommend and document maintenance and repairs while greeting customers professionally and delivering personalized service.

You will work with technicians to determine required work, prepare repair orders, and provide cost estimates. A strong focus on CSI and sales ability is essential; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service advisor experience preferred.
• Ford brand experience is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with CSI focus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recommend and document service maintenance and repairs for customers.
• Greet customers professionally and deliver personalized service.
• Work with technicians to identify required maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare repair orders and update databases with order details.
• Provide service recommendations and estimated costs to customers.
• Perform road tests to assess customer concerns.
• Ensure satisfaction meets company and manufacturers’ standards.
• Meet department repair order production standards.
• Perform other service duties as required by management.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

• Identifying, recommending and documenting service maintenance and repairs for customers.
• Greeting customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Delivering personalized service that exemplifies our dealerships.
• Working with technicians to identify required maintenance and repairs.
• Preparing repair orders, updating databases with relevant details of orders, and closing orders by providing appropriate repairs and services.
• Providing service recommendations and estimated costs to customers.
• Performing road tests of customer vehicles to assess customer concerns
• Ensuring customer satisfaction meets company and manufacturers’ standards.
• Striving to meet the department’s repair order production standards.
• Perform other Service related duties as required by management

What you need to succeed:

• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• 5+ years of service advisor experience preferred.
• Ford brand experience is highly preferred.
• CDK experience is an asset.
• Professional, friendly and customer oriented with high emphasis on good CSI and selling capabilities.
• Ability to sell and recommend maintenance and repairs to our loyal customers.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• May be required to work on Saturdays.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation (expected annual compensation): $45,000 - $90,000 per year (base salary plus monthly performance-based bonuses). This range includes a fixed base salary and eligibility for monthly bonuses tied to individual results and/or department performance, which may be influenced by business volumes. Actual bonus earnings vary based on performance.
