Rafih Auto Group’s Performance Ford in Windsor, ON, is hiring an Automotive 310S Licensed Technician for a full-time, permanent role. The technician will diagnose and repair vehicles, communicate with parts and service advisors, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training in a brand-new, high-energy facility.

Qualifications

• 310S license and valid driver’s license are required.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
• AEC/DEP or skilled trade certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work per repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain parts as needed.
• Inform service advisor if additional work is required or if time estimates change.
• Document all work, including diagnostic codes and repair actions.
• Road test vehicles when required and reference job aid forms.
• Participate in manufacturer training and events.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer recall bulletins and guidelines.
• Meet Xtime KPI targets as directed by management.

The Service Technician, under the direction of the Service Manager, will primarily be responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures to determine vehicle maintenance requirements and providing accurate repairs for our customers vehicles.This is a unionized position.Performance Ford is a high-volume, high-energy dealership deeply rooted in Windsor's proud automotive history. Job Qualifications:

• 310 S Licensed Service Technician
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy items and to stand for long periods of time

Job Requirements:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repair
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order including diagnostic trouble codes and cause and correction.
• Road tests vehicles when required and references job aid forms to qualify complaint
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
• Reviewing manufacturer’s recall bulletins and ensuring that all steps are followed as per the guidelines set forth by the manufacturer
• Ensure that you are achieving all Xtime KPI’s as directed by the management team
