Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent 10+ years experience underground.
  • 5+ years in an industrial environment with troubleshooting focus.
  • Strong machinery and system knowledge required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of key MPU manufacturers.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and HSE regulations.
  • Write User and Operations manuals for new equipment designs.
  • Maintain MPU specifications for manufacturers.
  • Travel expected at 50%.

Skills

Troubleshooting equipment and ancillary systems
Knowledge of machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
Communication skills
Familiarity with CAD 2-D and 3-D software
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or 10+ years equivalent underground working experience
5+ years experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
