Job summary

A leading Third Party Administrator based in Canada is seeking a Senior Transportation Examiner to investigate and settle transportation claims. The role is remote, requiring knowledge of commercial auto damage and claims procedures. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, experience with Lloyd’s of London, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment are essential. This position involves negotiating settlements and overseeing outside adjusters.

Qualifications

• Experience with Lloyd’s of London is considered an asset.
• Able to be licensed in states, countries where necessary.
• AIC designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate the investigation of new claims.
• Evaluate coverage and make policy decisions.
• Negotiate settlements of collision and property damage claims.
• Manage work of outside adjusters and appraisers.
• Complete research to determine market value on vehicles.
• Respond to time-sensitive material including arbitration hearings.
