Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Senior Technical Security Analyst in Toronto, ON. The candidate will support end users, manage IT service requests, and maintain client relations. Essential skills include at least 3 years in IT support, experience with ServiceNow, and strong communication abilities. The role requires quick task management in high-pressure situations. Candidates who have knowledge of Identity & Access Management are preferred. This position is onsite.

Qualifications

Job Title: Senior Technical Security Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 6 + Months

Daily Responsibilities
  • Support end users by processing requests submitted through our ticketing platform and follow documented procedures, ensuring timely execution and closure of access requests
  • Investigate urgent issues and elevate requests accordingly ensuring a valid business reason is provided
  • Work in a diverse environment leveraging other team members’ experience and knowledge
Must Have Skills
  • At least 3 years of experience working in IT support and/or Service Desk support role
  • ServiceNow
  • Strong technical writing aptitude, written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong ability to manage client and stakeholder relations with a strong sense of urgency and ability to shift tasks in high pressure environment
  • Knowledge in Identity & Access Management controls and policies
  • Skilled in collaboration, troubleshooting and gap analysis
Nice to have Skills
  • ITIL v3: Foundations, Operational Support & Analysis
  • Strong technical writing aptitude, written and verbal communications skills
